Ingredients:
Crust:
- 1 cup water
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 cup flour
- 4 eggs
Filling:
- 2 small boxes chocolate instant pudding
- 2 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 8-ounce cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 8-ounce Cool Whip
- Chocolate syrup
Crust: Boil water and margarine. Add flour. Mix well with spoon. Dough
will pull away from sides of pan. Remove from heat. Beat in eggs, one
at a time, until incorporated. Spread in ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at
400 F. for 25 minutes until golden brown. Press down any large bubbles
in crust and let cool.
Filling: Beat cream cheese with mixer until smooth. Add pudding and
milk and mix until thickened. Spread on cooled crust. Top with Cool Whip
and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Chill until ready to serve.
