You will need:
- Chex cereal: 1 box each Corn, Rice, Wheat
- Small stick pretzels
- Shelled, unsalted peanuts
- Large bowl
- Lowry's seasoning salt
In a large bowl, combine the Chex cereal, pretzels and peanuts. Sprinkle
seasoning salt over the mixture while stirring gently.
Our preschool class loved to make this at least once a month. We divided
the children into groups of 4-5 and each group made their own "batch".
Sometimes each child would make their own batch by combining the ingredients
in their own paper sandwich bag and shaking the mixture up to mix it.
This worked well for field trips - the children could carry their own
snack bags with them. |
