or make one pan of brownies and serve another dessert, too.
Ingredients:
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup butter
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 flour
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cups chopped pecans Directions: 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees
F. Grease and flour 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan. 2 In double boiler over
low heat, melt the chocolate and butter. Remove from heat and let cool.
3 In a large mixing bowl, mix together eggs, vanilla, salt and sugar.
Beat well for 8 to 10 minutes. 4 Slowly add in chocolate mixture and
flour. Mix until just blended. 5 Stir in the walnuts. Spread batter
evenly in pan and bake for 25 minutes. 6 Let cool for 2 hours before
cutting into squares.
Method:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan with spray oil.
Melt unsweetened chocolate along with the butter in a double boiler
over low heat. Cool slightly.
Mix eggs, vanilla, salt an sugar a large bowl with an electric mixer.
Slowly add melted chocolate and butter to the egg mixture. Beat until
combined.
Add flour to mixture in thirds. Beat with a spoon after each addition.
Fold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
Turn into pan and bake for 25 minutes.
Cool on a rack. Cut into squares and serve with a scoop of vanilla
ice cream.
