| This is a great Father's Day gift. If young children are making
this hat, we advise that an adult cut the hooks off of the fishing lures,
etc. Children should be supervised while using the needle to sew on the
lures.
Materials:
- hat - can use any kind of hat you wish
- assorted fishing lures, flies, bobbers, etc.
- needle with a large eye and heavy thread
- wire-cutters
Method:
This hat is really ornamental, so for safety, you can use the wire-cutters
to cut the hooks off of the lures before attaching them to the hat.
Then, using the needle and thread, tack the lures, bobber, flies, etc.
to the hat.
If Dad's not into fishing, you can create a hat around any theme. Attach
small tools, gardening supplies, etc. to a hat. Depending upon what you're
using, you may need to use a hot glue gun instead of needle and thread.
