Garlic Bread
|
Ingredients:
- loaf of french bread
- garlic powder
- butter
- minced fresh parsley or cilantro
Method:
- Slice the bread into 1" thick slices.
- Butter each slice on one side - use lots of butter.
- Sprinkle desired amount of garlic powder on each slice.
- Sprinkle a little chopped parsley on each slice. Don't use more than
1/2 teaspoon per slice, 1/4 teaspoon is better.
- Reassemble the loaf and wrap in foil.
- Bake in the oven (350 degrees or 375 degrees) for about 15 minutes.
- You can bake on the grill, too, but use low heat and check frequently
to make sure the bottom of the loaf doesn't burn.
