Join in the fun of making these members of
barn yard royalty. "Lady Porker" and "Sir
Mouse" are just the beginning of woodcrafting with wooden Candle Cups
and Round Head Beads
Glue the hole-end of the Head Bead inside the open end of the Candle
Cup.
For arms, cut a 1 " long section from each end of a Craft Stick.
To cut the stick, first score it with a sharp knife on the line to be
cut, and then break the stick on the scored line. Glue the arms to the
sides of the Candle Cup, just below the upper rim.
From lightweight cardboard, cut 2 ears, 1 nose and 1 apron. Glue
the nose to the front of the head and the apron to the front of the
body. Bend each ear on the fold line. Glue the rounded ends of the ears
to to the top of the head, then bend the ears forward and glue the tips
of the ears to the front of the head
Paint the Pig pink and the apron white. Use felt markers to draw the
features and the flower and heart trim. Make the eyes and nostrils black,
the flower centers yellow, the flowers and hearts red and the leaves
and scrolls green. If desired, apply a coat of Mod Podge for a nicer
finish.
